Albenga

The "City of Towers" is rich of history and preserves an untouched medieval centre. The main attractions are the Roman Baptistery and the Sann Michele cathedral. The most important museums are Palazzo Oddo, holding the Blue Dish, and Museo Navale Romano, holding amphorae belonged to wrecks still visible in the open sea of Albenga. Walking the narrow streets and looking the little typical squares, you can discover the atmosphere of the old "Albingaunum". Walking the Via Romana Julia Augusta you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view and the ruins of the Roman necropolies.

Alassio

The presence of different English families in Alassio formed a community and today you can visit the Anglican Church (location of theatrical and musical events), the Tennis Club and the English Library. The historical centre, named Budello, is a long narrow street located through old houses and modern boutiques. You can visit also the Carlo Levi museum to admire the landscape paints and portraits of the painter, Sant'Ambrogio church and the popular Muretto: a wall decorated with ceramic tiles which have been signes by celebrities. If you want a pause of relax, don't miss the Santa Croce viewpoint, from which admire the wonderful Gallinara Island. Don't miss to taste the typical pastry Baci di Alassio!

Finale Ligure

The city center is 27 km far from Albenga and extends along the coast, with a spacious promenade and an important street with numerous shops and hidden corners. Don't miss

San Giovanni Battista square, holding the imposing Cathedral, and the Castelfranco fortress. However, Finalborgo is the medieval village rich of history: visit San Giovanni e Gavone castles, founded by the Marquess Del Carretto in the Middle Ages, from which the organization of the events during summer is inspired.

Discover the archeological museum and the Santa Caterina cloister... admiring the famous "pink stone of Finale". Taste the typical "Chifferi" with almonds!
